Lazaro, who had an emotional night on March 20, was named safe just as another Season 12 hopeful sang for survival on the March 21 episode of ‘American Idol’ — did YOU agree with the results?
Judges Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson were shocked by the bottom three contestants. Were YOU surprised by the results show, HollywoodLifers?
Season 10 contestant Casey Abrams came on stage with a giant bass. The unrecognizable former Idol and his facial hair scatted his way through The Beatles’ “I Saw Her Standing There.” It was an amazing performance!
The Results Are (Slowly) Revealed
Paul Jolley and Devin Velez were put in the bottom three near the beginning of the show.
After two performances by the hopeful contestants and a lot of commercials, Ryan Seacrest got down to business.
First, Lazaro Arbos, who had the most emotional performance last night, was told he was safe. Poor Lazaro — they keep asking his questions! He admitted he needs to sing songs that he loves instead of songs that have little or no meaning to him.
In another break in action, Jessica Sanchez and Ne-Yo performed her new single “Tonight.” The performance was high energy and her dance moves and belly-baring outfit reminded me a lot of Jennifer Lopez.
More Results Are Announced
There was no ranking this week, like there was last week, but Kree Harrison, Candice Glover, Angie Miller, Janelle Arthur and Burnell Taylor were all safe.
Amber Holcomb joined Paul and Devin in the bottom three. This shocked the judges. Finally, Paul ended up in the lowest spot.
Although he sang for survival, the judges were not unanimous and they did not use their one save of the season for Paul.
Are you surprised by the results, HollywoodLifers?
