Katy Perry and Selena Gomez will have the perfect opportunity to do commiserate with each other over their recent splits from boyfriends John Mayer and Justin Bieber, respectively, on Mar. 23, as HollywoodLife.com has learned that they will be seated next to one another at the 2013 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, held at USC’s Galen Center in Los Angeles!
Katy, 28, and Selena, 20, will be seated in the front row of the annual event. Let’s hope they don’t get splashed with any slime!
The two gorgeous singers previously hung out in happier times, relationship-wise, when they attended the UNICEF Snowflake Ball in November of 2012. Will they use this new hang out as an opportunity to provide each other support and just have some single-girl fun?
Katy Perry & John Mayer: Broken Up For Good?
Selena and Justin have been kaput since the beginning of 2013, but Katy and John’s break up is a much fresher wound. Their split was confirmed by HollywoodLife.com on Mar. 19, with a source telling us that there’s a chance that the two will get back together.
It is “more of a break than a break-up," our insider said, adding, "You'll probably see them hanging out sooner then later and hooking up again. They remain very friendly."
Selena Gomez Bashes Justin Bieber On ‘Late Show’
While Katy and John may be friendly, that doesn’t seem to be the case with Selena and the Biebs. Selena appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman on Mar. 18 and laughed with Dave over making Justin cry, which a source told us she loved!
“Selena loved dissing Justin during Letterman," our insider said. "She feels great these days, because she looks hot, and has a hot new movie Spring Breakers out, and she has had great success with the The Wizards Return. Everyone is rallying around her.”
