The star is the latest to show off the sexy sheer trend on the red carpet! Did you love her really revealing look? VOTE!
The lovely Emilia Clarke, 25, looked phenomenal while walking the red carpet for the Mar. 20 opening night of Broadway’s rendition of Breakfast At Tiffany's in NYC, where the Game Of Thrones actress debuted her own version of the little black dress — and she managed to show off a lot of leg in the Dolce & Gabbana frock!
Emilia Isn’t The First To Stand Out In Sheer!
The British babe looked sultry but insanely tasteful, all at the same time. The frock featured a very sheer overlay that was embellished with daisy appliqués. The ‘sheer’ trend has been a successful hit on the red carpet. Other starlets who have stunned in this look include Kristen Stewart in Zuhair Murad at the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 premiere, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Gucci at the Moscow International Film Festival premiere of Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, and of course, trend queen, Beyonce! Beyonce really made the look her very own while attending the 2012 Met Gala. She was one of the first to turn heads in such a tempting creation. Her feathered gown was the work of Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci. If Bey dares to wear such an ensemble, everyone will follow along for sure, and they did — although at the time Queen Bey’s dress received mixed reviews.
How She Made The Look Her Own:
Emilia wore a black bodysuit underneath the sheer silhouette — talk about giving the ‘illusion’ of a leggy look! A touch of femininity was added with the placement of a black velvet belt around the waist that showed off the beauty’s petite frame. The get-up gave a fun twist to the usual black dress- the stylish enhancements were well balanced and worked creatively together. The bodysuit allowed her to appropriately cover up while still rocking the interesting sheer trend.
She also played with the black and white trend for spring, polishing off the look with a pair of white pumps. White pumps have been all the rage on the red carpet lately, but in this case, it gave a very alluring contrast against the frock. The star went a tad overboard with the drama of her eyes, but a touch of orange lips earned her some forgiveness.
Emilia’s quickly becoming one we love to watch on the red carpet, and we can’t wait to see what she’ll wear next!
