Will is ready to say ‘Bye, Bye, Bye’ to Finn for kissing his former bride-to-be, but Rachel’s ex-boyfriend doesn’t ‘want it that way!’

What better way to squash an argument than with a mash up of *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys’ biggest hits? Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) will address Finn’s (Cory Monteith) kiss with Emma (Jayma Mays) in the form of a boyband mash up on the March 14 episode of Glee!

Okay, my heart is pounding with excitement. Not only am I a HUGE *NSYNC fan (sorry Backstreet Boys, you’re either one or the other), but “Bye, Bye, Bye” is my favorite pop song from the 90s. Technically, the song was released in 2000, but these bands were the hottest, right around the turn of the century. It’s a wonder it took Glee so long to cover these boybands.

If I’m being honest, *NYSNC deserves an entire tribute episode. And maybe Justin Timberlake can guest-star! I could be getting ahead of myself, but I can dream, right?

In the March 14 episode, Will groups together some members of New Directions to perform *NSYNC’s biggest hit. It’s his way of dueling with Finn, who performs “I Want It That Way” with some other members from the club.

So the question is: will the power behind these songs be enough to save Will and Finn’s friendship? Only time will tell!

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Do you love the mash up?
