On April 8, Dolph Ziggler went up against returning world heavyweight champion Alberto Del Rio, and won the title on Monday Night Raw! On April 7, Alberto successfully defended his title against Jack Swagger, but was left with a hurt ankle after the match. Alberto was forced to defend his title again at the IZOD center when he went up against Dolph on April 8. Dolph entered to cheers as he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, and prepared to take on Alberto. After two minutes, Dolph won the match and became the new world heavyweight champion!
