From surviving a cheating scandal to releasing the final ‘Twilight’ saga installment, 22 has been quite a year for Kristen! Happy Birthday Kristen!
Kristen Stewart has definitely had a year of ups and downs. Although some parts were difficult for her, she’s come out of it a stronger woman and ready to take on 23! She’s back with Robert Pattinson and their relationship seems better than ever! Let’s take a look back at Kristen’s most memorable moments from the past year!
Kristen Stewart’s New Movie Roles In ‘On The Road’ & ‘SWATH’
Although she’s most well-known for her role in Twilight, Kristen made it clear this year that she’s more than just a vampire sweetheart. The actress proved she has a broad range by taking on roles very different from her Twilight character. In On The Road, Kristen plays a passionate and sexually adventurous young woman in the adaptation of Jack Kerouac‘s novel. In contrast, Kristen took on a much more action-oriented, warrior role as Snow White in Snow White & The Huntsman. This year, Kristen took on a wide variety of projects that proved her acting abilities aren’t limited!
Kristen’s Affair With ‘SWATH’ Director, Rupert Sanders
This was definitely the lowest point of Kristen’s year. On July 24, photos were released of Kristen in the arms of SWATH director Rupert Sanders. Kristen was immediately at the center of a major cheating scandal involving her boyfriend Rob, and Rupert’s wife and family. After Kristen’s affair was revealed, Rob immediately moved out of the house the couple shared together. Kristen made a public apology pleading to Rob, “I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.” In the following months, Kristen was under constant media attention, and was continuously slammed for her actions.
Kristen Reconciles with Rob After Cheating Scandal
Initially, Rob refused to speak to Kristen, but he slowly began to forgive her. By the time the pair began promoting Breaking Dawn Part 2, it seemed as if nothing had ever happened. The couple’s relationship has only gotten stronger since the affair. When Rob left for filming in Australia in February, the couple decided to take a “trial separation” in order to preserve their relationship. Now, Rob is back in LA and the couple can’t seem to get enough of each other! Although the couple isn’t quite ready to move back in together, their relationship seems to be in a great place.
Kristen Says Goodbye To The ‘Twilight’ Saga
This past year was bittersweet for Kristen because she had to say goodbye to the Twilight saga with the release of the final installment, Breaking Dawn Part 2. Over the past six years, the Twilight films have been a major part of Kristen’s life. It was a huge project that helped Kristen grow as an actress, and introduced her to the love of her life, Rob. During a press conference, while promoting BD2, Kristen admitted that it was bittersweet that the experience was ending.
"I'm definitely not excited for it to be over. But, now that the whole story is told and everything is done and we don't have those big moments weighing on us [and now] that Bella can finally have everything that she wants, I can't wait for everyone to feel that as well," Kristen explained.
Kristen has had quite a big year, but we’re sure 23 will be her best year yet!
