‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ has come to an end! With part three of the reunion wrapping on April 21, many old wounds opened up, and the husbands came to support their ladies — but not all showed up.
Porsha Stewart was defending her husband in part one of the reunion, and on April 21, she was doing it again — and calling out the other ladies about the support they didn’t show.
Porsha Stewart Defends Kordell … Again
When host Andy Cohen brought in the husbands of the housewives, it was evident that one couldn’t make it — Porsha’s then-husband Kordell Stewart.
Porsha explained that after his radio show, he had a business meeting that he couldn’t get out of so he couldn’t make it. Of course, the rest of the women didn’t like that. Andy then asked her how they were now, after seeing the arguing on the season.
“We’re a brand new couple — it was real, it was what we were going through at the time,” she said. “He felt comfortable with it, it was what we were going through.”
Apparently she was sick of defending her husband – throughout the season she did it repeatedly, as the women felt he was too controlling of her. Then, she snapped, going on a rant.
“Maybe after I’ve done this show a few seasons, I won’t give a damn either,” Porsha said. “But for right now, I’m a wife. I’m not perfect.”
It didn’t stop there.
Kordell is not perfect by far, but he's my husband. I married him and we took an oath in front of everyone and I'm going to represent that to the fullest. I'm not fake, I'm Porsha. So all I'm saying is that I just want to be strong like you, I want to have a career as well. I want to have my children that I take care of and they know mommy's going to be home and Kordell know I'm gonna cook his meals. When you're a wife you have your own independence it's beautiful.
Porsha told the girls that she admired all of them and wanted them to all be more real with each other, without the cameras there.
Atlanta Wants A New Housewife
The dramatic reunion ended with all of the housewives agreed on one thing — they want a new housewife.
NeNe Leakes even said she’d like to replace someone — but she won’t tell who, and tells Andy she’ll tell him later on! I guess we’ll have to keep an ear out for that!
