Drake shockingly decided to skip out on the BET Awards to avoid another confrontation with Chris, but a source close to the R&B singer tells HollywoodLife.com that Chris has much better things to think about than the feud.
The Chris Brown-Drake feud rages on! We were reminded of these two stars’ rough history on June 30 when Drake dropped out of appearing at the BET Awards, specifically to stay away from Chris, HollywoodLife.com reported exclusively. The feud is clearly still on Drizzy’s mind, but how does Chris feel?
Chris Brown ‘Isn’t Thinking About Drake’
“Chris isn’t trying to kill his vibe thinking about Drake,” a source close to the singer tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “Chris isn’t worried about him in the least.”
The 24-year-old just opened the BET Awards, and was going into the show as a Best Male R&B Artist nominee, so he obviously had much better things on his mind. But going forward, the source insists that Chris is willing to bury the hatchet and smooth things over.
Chris “has no issues with him,” says the source, “it’s all peace over here.”
Drake: Is He Still Holding A Grudge Towards Drake?
Especially considering Drake made a concerted effort to avoid Chris on June 30, it seems that the rapper hasn’t put the feud behind him like Chris has.
Less than two weeks ago, Drake was talking about the beef, telling GQ magazine:
It's embarrassing, the amount of media coverage … two rappers fighting over the woman. He's not even a rapper, but still, it's the last way you want your name out there. It distracts from the music. But he's made me the enemy, and that's the way it's gonna stay, I guess.
We can all agree that this fight has gone on too long. Hopefully Drake can take a page from Chris’ book and think about the positives in his life instead of this dreadful feud. What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
