It’s the best Wednesday night of the summer y’all, because June 5 is the night of the 2013 CMT Music Awards. The biggest stars in country will be out for the event, and you don’t even have to leave your computer to watch!
We’re just rolling our windows down and cruising (Florida Georgia Line reference, anyone?) for the CMT Music Awards on June 5. It definitely promises to be one of the biggest parties the country world has seen, as stars like Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Hunter Hayes will all be on hand for the ceremony. It’s going to blow the roof off of Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and it all kicks off with a live stream from the red carpet.

The country world might get overlooked once in awhile, but trust us, their awards shows are the most entertaining out of all of them. These people know how to let loose! That fun atmosphere is the perfect setting for this year’s incredible list of performers.
Taylor will be back on stage, repping her country roots. And who knows — maybe she’ll take a shot at her new archenemy Justin Bieber? Either way, we can always count on an amazing performance from Taylor, and she’ll be sharing the stage with the likes of Carrie, Hunter, Luke Bryan, and Lady Antebellum.
There are also a couple collaborations scheduled that have us really excited — rapper Nelly will be performing with Florida Georgia Line (otherwise known as the performance of the night) and Lenny Kravitz is set to team up with Jason Aldean.
It’s going to be one heck of a night, sort of like covering a huge pile of wood in gasoline and lighting it on fire. It all starts at 7 PM ET live from the red carpet, and the show itself kicks off at 8 PM ET.
