RiRi got the chance to hang out in the iconic home, further fueling rumors that the songstress just might be teaming up with the fashion house after all. Could you imagine a Rihanna Chanel campaign?
Rihanna got to do what every girl dreams of — she spent the day at Coco Chanel‘s apartment in Paris. In true RiRi fashion, she took to Instagram to document the day, taking pictures all over the couch and steps that are so famous from Coco’s personal photographs. Her visit to the home offers more evidence to the rumor that the 25-year-old songstress just might have been tapped to front a new campaign for the iconic fashion house!
Rihanna At Coco Chanel’s House:
Rihanna took to Instagram to post everything Chanel. After a day of shopping at Chanel in Paris, Rihanna instagrammed a picture of a yellow Chanel lego-box purse with the caption, “Thank you to my dear friends at Chanel Paris!!!” After that, everything spiraled out of control and Rihanna got to experience the dream of a lifetime. It all started with a shot of the keys to the home, which opened the door to one of the most luxurious fashion houses around. “Got the keys to #CoCoChanels apartment!!! Yesterday=Most Legendary day in Paris!!!!” Read RiRi’s caption.
The star lounged on Coco’s steps and posed for pics looking absolutely adorable in her white shopping ensemble. She posed with Chanel’s accessories designer, Laetitia Crahay, saying, “Me and the very lovely @laetitiacrahay You were so wonderful to us!! Thank you so much! Glad we got to hang out in Paris!! #CoCosCouch” I guess Ri was making friends and having an amazing day — or was she inking a deal with the iconic brand?
Rumors of Rihanna’s involvement with Chaenl swirled back in February, but the brand denied that they were working with Rihanna in April. Although it sure looks like RiRi is very comfortable, literally at home with the fashion house.
Our favorite shot is the one of Rihanna recreating an old picture of the fashion legend, lounging on a chaise with a cigarette in her hand and the original picture of Coco in her lap captioning it, “Replicating a #Coco moment”
Rihanna was like a kid in a candy shop — she even had a mock fitting in the same exact spot Coco used to do her own! “Checking my designs where #Coco checked hers!!! #imjustdifferent,” she said.
Usually when stars get to enter Coco’s house it’s for a photo shoot or an event — but it looks like Rihanna was just hanging out and having fun! We’re so jealous of her epic fashion trip — and she clearly had no trouble making herself right at home.
