Paris Jackson allegedly attempted to commit suicide on June 5, and her fans are in shock as to why. HollywoodLife.com reported that Paris is “still emotionally devastated” over her father Michael Jackson’s death, but it appears that several sad events — including arguments with her aunt Janet Jackson and being cyber bullied — led to her depression and the suicide attempt.
Paris Jackson — Her Sad Life
At only 15 years old, Paris has experienced more in her short life that many teenagers can’t even imagine, and she has gone through a lot of heartache. In the timeline of her life, several particularly upsetting events happened to her.
Paris saw her father die – Paris’ life was turned upside down by her beloved father Michael Jackson’s death in 2009, and her life has never been the same since. Paris reportedly witnessed her father’s death, and since he died she has admitted that growing up “sucks” because every day is a day without him.
"I love my dad, and I'm proud to be his daughter," Paris told Glamour. "I'm going to enjoy my childhood, because the older I get, the more it sucks.”
She fought with her aunt – Paris and Janet had a huge blowout fight where the “All For You” singer allegedly slapped Paris in July 2012. "You're a spoiled little b****!" Janet allegedly said to Paris.
This fighting must have been such a cause of stress for Paris.
Paris was dragged into a custody battle – Paris and her brothers Prince and Blanket were dragged into an ugly custody battle after their grandmother Katherine disappeared. Katherine left the kids traumatized when she went missing for several weeks — she was allegedly kidnapped by her own family — and their uncle TJ tried to get temporary custody.
Inconsistent care is bad for children, and it was reported that Paris and the boys felt abandoned.
Paris was being cyber bullied – Paris took a lot of hits from bullies on Twitter, from people who claimed that Michael was not her real father, and that he was a pedophile.
