The star made a statement in a grey gown — but was her look really chic or rather frumpy? VOTE!
Rita Ora, 22, was certainly turning heads at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards on June 4 at Berkeley Square Garden in London. Do you think the grey gown was a good choice for the summer event? Was it beautiful or busy?
Rita Ora ‘Glamour’ Women Of The Year Awards Dress:
The “How We Do” singer wore a long Marchesa gown with veil ruching and sequin detail. While the eye-catching gown turned heads from the front, she turned even more in the back with a see-through embellished leaf-shaped design.
Ora kept her jewelry simple, wearing silver rings and stud earrings. She kept with the grey theme, wearing a smokey eye and pink gloss. She topped off the look with a cream, pointy-toed heel that was barely visible due to the dramatic draping.
The 22-year-old artist is use to taking risks with her appearance, as she’s been in news for changing her hair color frequently.
Even if brighter shades are all the rave this season, there’s no denying that this stone-colored gown got just as much attention as the slew of colors the majority of celebs wore at the event.
Love or loathe, it seems the artist will still go home a winner, as best friend and model, Cara Delevingne, presented her with this year’s GLAMOUR Award for Solo Artist. Congrats!
What do YOU think about the gutsy fashion choice?
