It’s time for Daddy William to go public! After the time Prince William has taken off from his royal duties to bond with his newborn son, he will be making his first official public appearance since becoming a dad!
Prince William still has some time off from royal duties after the July 22 birth of his son, but his calendar has begun to fill up once again. Though he made his first few post-baby comments outside St. Mary’s Hospital in London on July 23, he has planned his first official public appearance since welcoming George Alexander Louis — what and when is it?
Prince William’s First Appearance As A Father Scheduled For August
The Duke of Cambridge will make his first official public premiere as a father when he attends the Anglesey Show on August 14, according to Kensington Palace.
The Anglesey Show is North Wales’ largest two-day agricultural event, which brings more than 56,000 people to it each year. William is scheduled to attend the second day of the show.
William, who is a Royal Air Force rescue helicopter pilot on the island of Wales, will not be doing anything similar to his job for the RAF or his job as a father while he is a the event.
Instead, he’ll be watching falconry and gundog displays, meeting with young local farmers and giving a short speech. He’ll even be judging some cattle!
Sounds like a fun first appearance as a daddy!
Prince William ‘Enjoying Bonding Time’ With George
While William is still on his “statutory two weeks paternity leave” from his RAF position, he and Kate have been spending quality time with their new little prince.
"This is now private and quiet time for them to get to know their son," a palace rep told Us Weekly.
Kate Middleton and William are currently residing with her parents in Bucklebury, where the rep said the couple is "enjoying time bonding with George and being around family."
We’re excited for William to share his fatherhood stories with the public, but in the meantime we’re happy to hear he’s enjoying his new role as a dad!
