From fluttery butterflies to baby pink hearts, the ‘Les Mis’ and ‘Big Bang Theory’ actresses showed off their best girly nail art at The 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. Whose mani look is YOUR fave? Vote!
Anne Hathaway, 30, and Kaley Cuoco, 27, rocked dainty, romantic nail art against their edgy clutch bags –and we’re seeing some major Valentine’s Day mani inspiration! Do you think their decorated manis are elegant or corny? Sound off below!
Anne Hathaway & Kaley Cuoco’s SAG Awards Nails
Someone is wasting no time getting into the Valentine’s Day spirit! Kaley’s two-toned red and pink nude nails complemented her bright red Romona Keveza dress perfectly. The neutral color of the hearts gives the cool visual effect as though they have been laser cut out of her red nails rather than doodled on top. While pink hearts paired with an all-red ensemble tends to have an overly cutesy vibe, Kaley’s designs really work.
Anne’s basic white mani was given an artsy punch with the help of some carefully painted black butterflies. The wispy creatures danced on only a few accent nails, leaving the rest of her look crisp and mod. Anne’s nails were created by L’Oréal Paris Worldwide Nail Artist Tom Bachik. To develop this “simple, chic and mod,” nail art, Tom used two coats of L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Nail in I Will! before applying a few butterfly accents (a romantic but subtle touch) to Anne’s middle and ring fingers (left hand) and the ring finger of her right hand.
Both ladies’ looks are giving us major V-Day mani inspiration! From the unexpected girliness of butterflies to the totally literal candy-colored hearts, it will be tough to choose a favorite.
