Christina Ricci, 32, has teamed up with international beauty brand Make Up For Ever to create a super chic new makeup bag. The carry-all makeup pouch is designed for the “beauty maven-on-the-go,” and will house all your beauty necessities in an edgy, fashion forward clutch.
Christina Ricci’s Makeup Must-Haves
Christina’s design features a black faux leather pouch that is dotted with gunmetal studs. The geometric motif of the bag, complete with adorable graphic lip prints, highlights Make Up For Ever’s signature red lip look. The bag is made out of a shiny, metallic silk screen material that looks great while ensuring your bag will stand up to the heavy duty job of keeping your makeup from spilling all over your purse!
"I loved collaborating with Make Up For Ever on a custom make up bag because I got to design something that actually holds everything I need on-the-go," said Christina about her latest project. "My inspiration for the bag was hard rock meets couture, and I added a red lip motif to the geometric design since I love wearing red lipstick. Plus I thought it would add a fun pop of color."

As part of the Make Up Bag Remix promotion, the brand will travel to nine cities across North America from January through April 2013. The brand will be setting up appointments in a “Mobile Make Up School,” to teach customers how to actually do their own make up, not just have it professionally applied. The brand’s team of professional artists will actually take a look inside make up bags to teach customers how to properly use what they already own, regardless of the brand — making your bag work harder for you.
