Here’s what Justin says in the song: “Lately I’ve been thinkin’/Thinkin’ bout what we had/and I know it’s hard/it was all that we knew/Have you been drinkin’?/To take all the pain away/I wish that I could give you what you deserve.”
Wow, is he saying that Selena has been partying to get her mind off of him?
Justin Admits The Song Is About Selena
In Justin’s latest Billboard interview, he reveals that he wrote this song himself and that it’s coming from his heart.
“I write all the time in the studio,” he says. “When I recorded it, I think the album was done. Scooter heard it was like, ‘This is amazing. If I rush to get it on the acoustic album, would you want it on there?’ I want people to hear what’s coming from my heart, and this is definitely the most that I’ve been sharing what I’m actually feeling.”
In the article Justin says that he isn’t calling Selena all the time begging her to take him back: “There’s so many rumors. People say I call Selena every day and she won’t pick up the phone or I’m chasing her down, and these are all fake stories.”
