Even though the First Lady and her beautiful girls are well-known around the world, the teenager still ordered her Inauguration Day outfit online — they are so down-to-earth! We have all the details on her J. Crew get-up — and you can BUY her coat right here for $325. SHOP.

Michelle Obama, 49, is the perfect role model for her two girls, Malia Obama, 14, and Sasha Obama, 11. Not only does she set a good example as a strong leader, but she is constantly dressing to impress, flaunting her reasonable fashion sense. Michelle always looks classy and appropriate for every occasion, and so do her daughters! While Malia could have worn a one of a kind ensemble designed specifically for the teen, she did what every normal girl does when she needs an outfit — she surfed the web! Can you believe the 14-year-old was wearing a coat that was purchased online?

J. Crew has always been a fave of the Obama girls, and Malia wore an entire J. Crew ensemble. She sported a plum-colored coat to the inaugural ceremony. She looked like a sophisticated young lady while still channeling a youthful vibe, thanks to the vibrant shade. Her sister did the same by wearing a blue peacoat by Kate Spade. They both looked adorable!

Michelle always seems to show off a hint of J. Crew in almost every ensemble — and Inauguration Day was no exception! She donned an embellished J. Crew belt with silver pumps. All of this J. Crew attire is selling out quickly due to this incredible publicity and gorgeous models, but you can get Malia’s coat right HERE for $325.

The creative director of J. Crew, Jenna Lyons, stated, “As far as we know, they literally ordered online and they shop like anyone else in America.” It’s great to know that this First Family can still shop online for themselves just like the average family! Out of everyone, the J. Crew retailer’s chief, Millard Drexler, was the most excited about all of the advertising that the girls were doing!

Did YOU love all of their J. Crew pieces as much as we did? Comment and VOTE on whether you LOVED or LOATHED the looks!
