NBC’s newest comedy pilot Brenda Forever  has ties to a Fox favorite and may feature an Office alum in the title role.

The single-camera comedy pilot is written and executive produced by Andrew Leeds (who plays Bones‘ big bad Pelant) and David Lampson; The Office‘s Ellie Kemper is mulling playing the lead, our sister site Deadline reports.

The potential series would consist of stories from Brenda Miller’s past and present, which would mesh together to give a unique portrait of how a chubby, awkward but incredibly confident 13-year-old grew up to be a 31-year-old woman who still does her own thing.

Peter Tolan (Rescue Me) also is attached to the project as an executive producer.
