The boys of One Direction have been in a revealing mood over the past week or so. Fresh off of announcing their movie’s title, This Is Us, they took to Twitter to tease their fans and subsequently unveil the title of their new book.
One Direction Unveils Their Book Title
Where We Are: Our Band Our Story, is what they’re calling it! It’s a simple yet thoughtful title in line thematically with This Is Us. After seeing the movie and reading the book, you should have a fantastic understanding of the boys and what they’re really like — and that seems to be the point!
We can also appreciate 1D’s FUBU (“For Us, By Us,” of course) approach — they’re taking ownership of their personal stories and making the point that the best places to learn about One Direction are from the members’ mouths directly.
One Direction has now revealed the title of their book, but we’ll have to wait a little longer for them to reveal the release date for it.
One Direction: ‘Where We Are’ Will Involve The Fans
1D, who always get the fans involved, went on Twitter earlier today, Mar. 28, to tease that they’d be releasing the book’s title, but not before letting their fans guess the name. Despite some good guesses, the band tweeted out about 20 minutes later, “Some good guesses guys.. BUT it’s time for the official announcement.. The 1D book = ‘Where We Are: Our Band Our Story’! 1DHQ x #1DBKREVEAL.”
The boys are also giving a lucky fan the chance to be in Where We Are! They’re asking fans to send in their best custom-made One Direction flags, and the winner’s will be featured in the book. “Bring the essence of where YOU are to where WE are,” a post on 1D’s website encourages.
So drop everything you’re doing right now and bust out the arts and crafts for those flags!
