Taylor Swift has been less than kind to her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles in her song lyrics and live performances, but the 23-year-old singer has finally opened up about the details behind her dramatic split from Harry — and says he was the one at fault!
Taylor opened up in the April issue of Vanity Fair and revealed that before her relationship turned sour, the romance started out promising.
“[Harry] was all, like, 'You're amazing – I want to be with you. I want to do this,” she tells the magazine. But soon enough, she couldn’t handle his constant partying, and couldn’t trust him.
The I Knew You Were Trouble singer says he “disappeared one night and after that it was like he just didn't want to keep going,” she tells Vanity Fair.
Finally, their drama came to a head when a friend sent Taylor a pic of Harry kissing another girl. Even though the British boy bander insisted she was just a pal and it was a friendly kiss goodbye, Taylor wasn’t buying it.
Taylor’s friend revealed Harry and the mystery girl “making out like with their hands all up in each other's hair.”
Despite everything, Taylor gave Harry another chance — even though he “wore her down” — but her insecurities got the best of her, and their relationship.
Taylor “felt like he was looking at every girl,” she tells the magazine.
