Are you outraged by the April 3 results show of ‘American Idol?’ I am. After Jimmy Iovine said Lazaro should go home, he ended up in the top three! Instead, Burnell Taylor was sent home. Do you agree with the results?
Judges Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson were visibly shocked when Lazaro Arbos was pronounced safe in the April 4 results show. Not only that, he was in a top three spot, although it was not revealed which one! According to our HL poll, 78 percent of you disagree with the results last night. Sadly, Burnell Taylor was sent home. Do you think it should have been Lazaro?
Jimmy Iovine Slams Lazaro Arbos
Mentor Jimmy Iovine was not a fan of Lazaro last night, and he really hasn’t been a fan since the beginning of the season. He was way harsh last night, saying Lazaro’s duet with Angie Miller was “cabaret.”
Although the judges praised Lazaro for his performance of Queen‘s “We Are The Champions,” Jimmy was not having it. “Surprise, I didn't like it as much as the judges. I put him in the bottom two or out,” he said on April 4.
Jimmy reiterated, “My top three are Amber, Angie and Kree but I love Candice. The one person going home tonight is Lazaro.”
The judges agreed with his top four, so imagine their surprise when Amber AND Candice were pushed out of the top three spots! Mariah actually started crying as Burnell was forced to sing for survival.
Lazaro Arbos Should Be Eliminated
I am a fan of Lazaro. I think he has an inspirational story and I’ve enjoyed watching him. But he needs to be voted off. I really think the competition is way above his talent level.
Plus, he has forgotten the lyrics twice. Why isn’t he picking songs he knows?
Although I like him and his story, he is not the best singer. By far. I’m sure he will be successful in life. But he does not belong in the top six singers in the entire country.
