Jonathan Knight’s battle with severe anxiety kept him from performing for a portion of New Kids On The Block’s concert on Apr. 4, but Jonathan proved that he still cared by giving a heartfelt apology to all the fans on his Twitter.
Jonathan Knight Tweets After Walking Off Stage: ‘I’m Sorry’
“I’m sorry……” Jonathan tweeted from the side of the stage as the rest of his bandmates continued the concert. The singer’s anxiety was clearly affecting him last night, and his immediate apology affirms that he’d be out there for his fans if he just felt comfortable enough.
But it just didn’t feel right last night, as HollywoodLife.com told you EXCLUSIVELY. After sitting out for two songs, Jonathan courageously came back on stage for “Step By Step,” “Hangin’ Tough” and “The Right Stuff.” However, after pulling through for those three classics, Jonathan again retreated to the side of the stage and did not return.
Jonathan Knight’s Fans Support Him
Jonathan showed his fans love and they returned it wholeheartedly. As Jonathan struggled, the NKOTB fans chanted his name vigorously and made it clear that they supported him.
And so do we — we love Jonathan whether he’s on the stage or off it. And while it’s great to see all five original members together, we just want him to do whatever makes him happy.
