Chris and Rihanna have been putting their relationship to the test while she’s on her ‘Diamonds’ world tour. Chris is obviously missing her, but in an interview he reveals that he’s trying his hardest to make sure he doesn’t turn into an overbearing boyfriend.
Ask anyone — a long distance relationship is tough on a couple. Chris Brown is learning that right now, as Rihanna travels around the country for her “Diamonds” tour and he works to keep his jealousy in check.

“I’m just a regular guy,” Chris told Power 105.1, “so I be thinking, man I hope nobody’s hitting that. But you can’t be the jealous boyfriend, I can’t be calling her constantly asking what she’s doing so I just gotta put that trust out there and hope nothing happens.”
That’s some great insight from CB — and a huge step for him personally. He’s had a difficult past with anger and jealousy issues between his assault in 2009 and his barfight with Drake in 2012, so to say something this mature and trusting is a big deal. It shows that Chris is truly learning and improving as a person.
And giving Rihanna space while she’s doing her thing on tour is also a great idea and a sign of a healthy relationship!
Chris Brown & Rihanna Planning A Reunion
Chris’ cool-headed comments are even more impressive considering just how much he’s missing Rihanna. HollywoodLife.com reported EXCLUSIVELY that the couple has been longing for each other and are planning a romantic reunion. “She misses him badly and he does too. There’s something in the works,” a source close to Rihanna says about their plans to see each other soon.
“They gonna make up for lost time… He can’t wait to see her,” the source added.
Chris and Rihanna seem to be going strong even as their careers keep them apart. And it’s healthy philosophies like the one Chris stated that will keep their relationship going!
