Anyone with a significant other in the 21st century knows the rules — you follow your boyfriend or girlfriend on Facebook and Twitter (and any other social network) no matter what. So it’s a little odd that Chris Brown stopped following Rihanna on Twitter on April 28. Maybe all those sexy pics that Rihanna posts were just making him miss her too much!
Chris Brown No Longer Following Rihanna On Twitter
It’d be crazy to take a social network decision and turn it into a full-on breakup, but it’s at least worth noting since the couple has followed each other since their reunion. And Chris’ unfollow comes just a day after Rihanna started following Drake on Instagram, as Media Takeout pointed out — could he possibly be sending a message to RiRi in response?
The couple has been known to be up and down at times, over seemingly small things. After Chris flaked out on a trip to see Rihanna in Vancouver on April 1, the two got into a heated phone exchange and Chris actually hung up on her. “She feels like he’s not serious enough,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY at the time. The argument fueled rumors that the couple had broken up, but it turned out just to be a road bump.

So if this Twitter issue actually proves to be a signifier of serious trouble for the couple, it’d be truly shocking. As HollywoodLife.com has also reported EXCLUSIVELY many times, Chris and Rihanna have been tight lately, and Chris feels like a new, confident man because of the Unapologetic singer.
And most recently, we reported that Rihanna was busy planning on throwing Chris an amazing party for his birthday on May 5. There’s even a report that RiRi bought Chris a million dollar Mercedes-Benz! Hopefully the unfollow is no big deal — otherwise she’s going to need a receipt.
