Any wardrobe malfunction is a bad one, so it has to be even more stressful when it’s right before the White House Correspondents’ Dinner!
Sports Illustrated model Chrissy Teigen definitely isn’t shy about showing off her body, but she did want to be fully dressed for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 27. However, she shared a picture on Instagram proving that even models have wardrobe malfunctions during the worst moments possible.
Chrissy Teigen Zipper Breaks Before WHCD
“Late for #whcd. Broke zipper. Any tailors in DC wanna sew me in?” Chrissy, 27, captioned the picture on Instagram, displaying a broken zipper.
From the picture, it’s clear that the dress can’t zip up, but it seemed a miracle happened — or just a back up dress!
Forty minutes later, Chrissy posted another pic wearing a different dress, made by Kaufmanfranco. She captioned it with “this one zipped.” Well, that’s a relief!
The night before the big event, she looked completely stunning in a red gown. Lucky for us, she shared a pic of herself cuddling up with fiancé John Legend, who accompanied her to the big event.
White House Corespondents’ Dinner Filled With High Fashion
Power wasn’t the only thing to dominate the D.C. dinner, it was overflowing with fashion too!
Katy Perry was one of many who looked absolutely stunning at the event. Katy’s dark locks looked amazing with a strapless forest green, Games of Throne-esque dress by Giambattista Valli.
Sophia Bush was another favorite look of the night. The One Tree Hill alum rocked an off-white Lela Rose gown with embellishments on top that was super flattering. Her staple piece has to be those bangs – just like Michelle Obama‘s!
Speaking of the first lady, she looked stunning as usual. Her Monique Lhuillier gown was full of glitter and shimmer — not that she needs it to shine!
