Miley and Liam may be struggling as an engaged couple, but the former Disney star insists it was the right thing to do to get engaged nearly a year ago. In the June issue of ‘ELLE’ UK, Miley also opens up about why she’ll be living a more private life moving forward.
According to Miley Cyrus’ hit song “See You Again,” the singer’s friends often explain her silly behavior by saying, “Oh, she’s just being Miley.” But Billy Ray Cyrus’ daughter has a better explanation for why she got engaged at 19-years-old, and why she continues to wear her engagement ring, despite reports of relationship woes with Liam Hemsworth.

“We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed,” she tells ELLE UK. “But we keep our relationship low-key and don’t talk about it any more.”
Of course, Miley, 20, is referring to recent reports suggesting that she’s hit a rough patch in her relationship with the Hunger Games hottie, 23. Snoop Lion, who Miley recently collaborated with, recently said that Miley’s relationship “no longer exists.”
Sadly, there may be some validity to Snoop’s statement because Miley and Liam have allegedly put their wedding on hold.
Due to the heavy attention surrounding their relationship, Miley now plans on keeping her personal life private.
Miley Cyrus Plans On Living A More Private Life
“We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight — into my life and my puppies and my house –- and I just don’t feel they get that privilege any more,” Miley explains. “Like on my Twitter, I’m much more . . . not conservative, but you don’t see a picture of my dogs. You don’t get that personal stuff any more.”
