The greatest basketball player ever, Michael Jordan, is known for his unparalleled competitiveness. He would bet on the gender of Kim Kardashian’s baby if you challenged him to it, so we knew his wedding was going to be a huge event for the ages.
Michael Jordan & Yvette Prieto’s Star-Studded Wedding Ceremony
The newlyweds MJ, 50, and Yvette Prieto, 35, invited over 500 people to the wedding ceremony, which was held at Bethesda-by-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Fla. Many of the attendees were famous NBA stars and even some celebrities.
Michael’s iconic Chicago Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen was on hand, as was former NBA star Patrick Ewing. MJ proved that he has crossover appeal as well though, as Tiger Woods (sans Lindsey Vonn) and director Spike Lee were also in attendance.

But the real celebration took place after the wedding. Michael and Yvette threw their reception in a massive tent at the Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Fla., a golf course community where Michael recently built a house. The tent was over 40,000 square feet — which is bigger than MJ’s house — and was just a short walk away from the new home.
Reportedly, over 1,500 people were invited to the reception, which included fireworks and performances by Usher, Robin Thicke, and The Source, an 18-piece band.
