Chris Brown doesn’t care what anyone says about his relationship with Rihanna, not even his own father! Despite his dad saying the two shouldn’t be together, Chris maintains that he will continue dating Rihanna regardless of what anyone says.
Why Chris Will Continue Dating Rihanna
“Chris is a grown a** man who is going to do whatever the f*** he wants, period,” a source close to the 23-year-old rapper tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “Chris can’t control what his pops says. Everybody has an opinion, even his own pops. But Chris doesn’t give a f*** what people have to say about his personal life.”
Speaking to the New York Daily News, Chris’ father Clinton Brown tells the publication that his son and 25-year-old Rihanna shouldn’t be together.
"I personally really didn't want him and Rihanna back together," the 48-year-old tells the magazine. “You have to have a balance in a relationship. You have to have someone who is spontaneous and whimsical but you also have to have someone who is grounded and logical."
Why Chris Isn’t Mad Over His Father’s Comments
Chris acknowledges his father’s remarks and while everyone is entitled to their own opinion, Chris says he’s not mad at his father.
“Chris ain’t mad at his dad for saying that,” the source adds. “He loves his dad. Chris is going to do him, regardless. It’s his relationship with Rihanna and no one else.”
