What caused Chris to suddenly lash out at Rihanna through music? The answer might surprise you.

Things haven’t been going so well between Chris Brown and Rihanna lately, so we weren’t totally shocked when Chris released a new track April 30, expressing his frustration. But what was the real motivation behind “I Can’t Win”? HollywoodLife.com went straight to Chris’ inner circle for the answer.

Chris Brown: ‘I Can’t Win’ — Why He Released The Song

“It is what it is,” a source close to Chris tells us. “He had some [stuff] to get off his chest, and he did so through his music. Can’t fault him for that, but you already know what the song is about, and he said all he’s got to say on the track.”

Chris’ pal certainly didn’t deny that he wrote the new song about Rihanna — and how could he? The lyrics couldn’t be more clear!

Will Rihanna Respond To Breezy’s Diss Song?

Rihanna’s never been one to keep her feelings to herself, so we’d love for her to respond to Chris’ song with one of her own! The lyrics to “I Can’t Win” pose some hard-hitting questions to RiRi (“Why you angry all the time? Why don't you wanna ride for me?”), and it’s only fitting that she should answer them.

HollywoodLifers, do YOU think Chris should have dissed Rihanna? And do you think RiRi should fire back with a ‘non-album’ song of her very own? Vote below!
