Despite Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s taste for the finer things in life, the power couple is taking the selfless route when it comes to welcoming their first child together. They would prefer their high-powered friends and family members to spend their hard-earned money on charity than on presents for their baby!
Kim Kardashian & Kanye West’s Baby Gift Plans
Kim and Kanye, who are spending time together in Paris as the rapper records his latest album, don’t have a baby registry, according to TMZ. Instead, they are asking friends and family members to donate to the Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, near where Kanye grew up.
Chicago Children’s Hospital Grateful For Donations
A rep for the hospital released a statement to TMZ, expressing their gratitude for Kim and Kanye’s charitable decision.
“Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago would like to extend its sincerest gratitude to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for their thoughtfulness and support of the hospital. Funds donated on behalf of Kardashian and West will be directed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Fund which will help care for the most critically ill babies and their families. We wish them all the best in the upcoming arrival of their baby.”
It’s clear Kanye and Kim, who have a combined net worth of $140 million, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com, aren’t in desperate need for gifts for their baby. We think it’s so great that they are opting for charity donations instead of glamorous presents!
