Considering Chris Brown‘s provocative music and bad boy image, it’s hard to think of him as an innocent young boy. But his dad Clinton Brown revealed the precious pic of the R&B superstar from his childhood during an intimate press conference at his Virginia home.
Chris Brown’s Childhood Photos
Although Chris is one of the biggest pop stars in the world now, his dad showed off photos of the Don’t Wake Me Up singer from his modest childhood, including class pictures from elementary school days and his time on the middle school basketball team.
He also showed off pics of a baby Chris in a sailor suit, and a charming young toddler dressed up in a red blazer in front of the Christmas tree.
But our favorite photo is of his kindergarten graduation, where a smiling 6-year-old Chris is seen clutching his little diploma in a cute red cap and gown. His infectious smile is reminiscent of the wide grin he sports on the red red carpet and on stage.
Chris Brown’s Dad Doesn’t Want Him Dating Rihanna
While speaking to various media outlets at his house, Clinton revealed he didn’t like that his son’s on and off-again relationship with Rihanna.
“I personally really didn't want him and Rihanna back together,” he told the New York Daily News. “You have to have a balance in a relationship. ’You have to have someone who is spontaneous and whimsical but you also have to have someone who is grounded and logical.”
