Jonathan Winters has died at the age of 87. The actor, who was famous for starring in Mork & Mindy, died of natural causes and was surrounded by friends and family.

Jonathan died in his home in Montecito, Calif, around 6:30 p.m on April 11, reports TMZ.
Jonathan is survived by his two children. His wife of 60 years, Eileen, died in 2009 after a 20-year-long battle with breast cancer.
Jonathan Winters Acting & Comedic Career
Jonathan was most famous for his funny and comedic performances, and his eccentric characters, such as Maude Frickert. He was a staple on the late night TV circuit for decades — he was one of Jack Paar‘s favorite guests and a The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson regular.
He was a voice actor for both The Smurfs and The Smurfs 2, playing Papa Smurf, and he recorded several comedic albums.
In 1999, he was awarded the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, and in 2008, he won a TV Land Award, which he was presented by Robin Williams.
Jonathan was known in Hollywood for having an upbeat and ambitious attitude, and he made his own good fortune.
“I couldn’t wait for success, so I went ahead without it,” is one of his most famous quotes, along with “Nothing is impossible. Some things are just less likely than others.”
