The divorce battle between Kordell and Porsha Stewart hit a boiling point when Kordell filed legal documents accusing Porsha of being a negligent mother. Now a fellow Real Housewife of Atlanta, Kandi Buruss is supporting Porsha, firing back and saying that Kordell couldn’t be further from the truth.
Kandi Buruss Sticks Up For Porsha Stewart
Kandi seemed shocked at the claim that Porsha was a stepmonster to Kordell’s son, Syre. “She never really did anything unless [Kordell] was comfortable with it,” she said to TMZ. That’s a long ways from Kordell’s claims that Porsha was staying out until 4 AM and “neglecting her responsibilities to her stepson.”
That report “would be very hard for us to believe,” Kandi continues. “She was always totally supportive of her husband and anything he wanted her to do.”
Kandi says that Porsha even decided to put her aspirations as a singer on hold to be a devoted mother and wife: “I know for a fact she wants to pursue her music career, and a lot of times she would not go to the studio if she needed to be there for her family.”
Kordell & Porsha Stewart’s Divorce Heats Up
Kandi finally points out that Kordell’s claim might just be the result of how bitter Porsha and Kordell’s divorce proceedings are getting. Both parties are almost at each other’s throats trying to maintain their dignity as the battle rages on.
“When people are going through things like that, all kinds of crazy stuff comes up, so I don’t know,” Kandi says.
