The birth of Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s baby will definitely be an international event! During a charity trip to Scotland with her husband, the Duchess of Cambridge revealed when she and Prince William are expecting the arrival of their bundle of joy!
“It’s around mid-July but apparently babies have their own agenda,” Kate joked to reporters on April 4. We’ve already marked our calendars to be on “royal baby watch!”
Kate Middleton’s Baby Shower Plans Revealed
The Duchess of Cambridge is breaking royal tradition by deciding to have a baby shower! Neither Queen Elizabeth or Queen Victoria had showers when their children were born.
"It was her sister Pippa [Middleton]'s idea," a source tells OK! magazine. “While it's all going to be very relaxed and fun, Kate is hoping the queen will drop by because the two are remarkably close. They bonded big time and really enjoy each other's company. Since this is going to be a first for royals, Kate would love the queen to be part of it.”
Luckily for Kate, her family’s business is party planning, so Pippa totally has everything under control! "Pippa is in charge of decorations," the source adds. "Wine and beer will be available — not that Kate will be drinking alcohol, of course. There will certainly be none of the hard stuff."
