After surviving a cheating scandal, Perrie reveals in a new interview that her relationship with Zayn is better than ever!
When Zayn Malik was accused of cheating with Australian waitress Courtney Webb in January, he immediately rushed to girlfriend Perrie Edwards‘ side and assured her that she’s the only girl he loves. In an interview with Twist magazine, Perrie makes it clear that the couple has definitely overcome this obstacle in their relationship.
“Zayn is so lovely,” Perrie told the magazine, adding that things are better than ever between the couple. Perrie credits their strong friendship foundation as the reason why their relationship works so well.
“You know things are good when you can’t wait to see the other person,” Perrie said. “It’s a sense of friendship. The main thing I looked for is if he’s fun to be around, if I can have a laugh with him.”
She added, “When it’s more of a friendship, it can blossom.”
Zayn Malik Is The Best Boyfriend Perrie Edwards Has Ever Had
Although Perrie has a great boyfriend now, she’s had her fair share of bad boyfriends. After some bad dating experiences, Perrie can truly appreciate Zayn’s wonderful qualities!
“I’d been on a few dates in the past with other boyfriends that didn’t go too well — I’d had loads of dating disasters! Zayn would never leave me with the bill like the other boys used to do!” Perrie joked.
