Carroll University in Waukesha, WI, has been put on lockdown on April 16 because of a report gunman on campus, the school’s Office of Public Safety said. The school texted it’s 3500 students to say ”Remain indoors until further notice.” How scary.
Carroll University On Lockdown After Gunman Seen On Campus
Following the horrors of the shootings at Sandy Hook community school in Newtown, Conn, and the shootings at Lone Star College in Harris County, TX, another school may be affected by a crazed gunman.
Carroll University, which is 30 minutes from Milwaukee, is under lockdown, reports FOX News.
The university is keeping students in its classrooms while police investigate a report of a man with a firearm, after the public safety office received a report of a man holding a gun near the tennis courts.
Student Affairs administrative assistant Yolanda Medina says no one is allowed to leave the campus buildings while the report is investigated.
This scary news comes one day after the Boston Marathon was bombed.
