Watch Jen share a screen with Matthew Perry & Courteney Cox. It’s (almost) the reunion we’ve been waiting for!
Remember when Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman swore there would never be a reunion of the iconic sitcom? Well, she’s still right. But in lieu of a full-on reunion, Ellen DeGeneres managed to round up three of the NBC comedy’s stars – Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry – for a fun video, promoting Jen’s upcoming turn as co-host of Ellen.
‘Friends’ Reunion: Is Matthew Perry Sleeping With His Former Co-Stars?
Oddly enough, that’s pretty much the gist of the video. Jen shows up at Matthew’s door, asking for co-hosting advice — he co-hosted in April 2013 — and jealousy erupts when she discovers Courteney sneaking out of his house.
“You’re sleeping with her, too?” Courteney asks Matthew, referring to Jennifer, yet calling her “Lisa” (aka Lisa Kudrow) for some reason. Come to think of it, I feel like they just wanted to sneak in all six stars’ names somehow, because Jen also refers to Matthew as David (aka David Schwimmer.)
Is Matt LeBlanc In The Reunion Video, Too?
Sadly, no. But he is mentioned!
At the very end of the video, Matthew walks back into his house and shouts, “LeBlanc! Get out of the fountain, man!”
Oh! I just realized he was talking about the fountain — the one they used in the opening credits of Friends. OK, that’s pretty funny.
