We can’t even begin to fathom the the grief that Bruno Mars is likely feeling after his mother, Bernadette Hernandez died on June 1 in Honolulu, Hawaii at Queens Medical Center at the age of 55. Sadly, an unexpected heart attack and subsequent brain aneurysm took the life of Bruno’s young mother.

Bernadette Hernandez died from a brain aneurysm, according to a publicist from Atlantic Records, who spoke to the Associated Press.
Just a day earlier on May 31, Bruno’s mother was hospitalized in Honolulu after suffering a heart attack, according to Star. She was being held in critical condition at the time.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Bruno and the rest of his family as they go through this difficult time.
