Kim celebrated her first child in style, and attended an elaborate baby shower in her honor on June 2 with friends, family — and E! cameras, of course! Check out the photos from the glamorous garden party.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are officially expecting a baby girl, and celebrated their bundle of joy with a chic and gorgeous baby shower, complete with thousands of dollars in flowers, and splashes of pinks to honor the baby’s gender!
Kim Kardashian’s Baby Shower — Intimate Details Revealed
Kim arrived to the gorgeous event at family friend Irving Azoff‘s mansion with sister Khloe Kardashian in a white Range Rover, which matched Kim’s flowy, ivory-colored dress. Khloe and sister Kourtney Kardashian also donned chic white frocks, and guests were given floral headdresses to wear during the shower!
The multimillion-dollar home –which was also the location of Khloe’s 2009 nuptials to Lamar Odom — was adorned with tens of thousands of dollars of floral arrangements, according to RadarOnline.com, and the event decor was in the gender-appropriate pink.
Unlike her daughters, Kris wore a pink dress in celebration for her grandbaby-to-be. She also honored her pregnant daughter and her boyfriend at the event with a speech.
"Kris gave a beautiful champagne toast, where she welcomed Kanye's family and talked about Kim's new chapter in her life, as she choked back tears," a source tells RadarOnline.com.
Kanye West’s Family Attends Baby Shower
Even though Kanye didn’t arrive until the end of the shower (along with fellow family men Lamar and Scott Disick), the women in his family were all in attendance!
"Kanye's whole family – all the women from his mom's side and dad's side – attended the shower," an insider told People magazine. "Kanye was so excited to have his family be there to join in the celebration with Kim's friends and family."
