It’s going to be a girl! The mom-to-be confirmed to the world on the season eight premiere of her show June 2 that she and boyfriend Kanye West are having a daughter, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t been buying blue too.
Kim Kardashian and beau Kanye West confirmed the gender of their little one on the June 2 season premiere of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and it means lots of pink. Although they’ve known for quite some time that they are expecting a daughter, they had to get tricky in order to keep the gender a secret!
Keeping Up With The Secret
The couple have known for months that they were expecting a baby girl, but they had to get savvy in order to keep it secret until the season premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
"We buy all white," she said on her show. "Or we'll go and buy both [girl and boy clothing], and then no one will know!"
Kim also celebrated her exclusive all-white baby shower the same day as the premiere and she announced at the shower that she was expecting a girl.
Kim’s Little One Is Going To Be Pretty In Pink
On KUWTK, Kim was over the moon that she and Kanye were expecting a girl. It was definitely what they both wanted.
"I'm so excited we're having a girl. Who doesn't want a girl? I think they are the best," she said. "I know that's really what Kanye has always wanted — he wanted a little girl."
Kim and Kanye have known for months that it was a girl but they’ve kept the world guessing about the gender. However, back in January, HollywoodLife.com learned EXCLUSIVELY that Kim was expecting a girl! Even though we knew what the gender was, it was still happy news to hear it officially from Kim’s doctor!
