Smilers, the day you’ve had marked on your calendars for weeks is finally here! Miley Cyrus has officially released her new single “We Can’t Stop,” and it’s even more magical than we ever could have anticipated. Singing about shaking it at a “strip club,” Miley shows how much she has grown up!
The princess of re-invention stopped by On-Air With Ryan Seacrest to premiere her sexy new jam — and Miley, 20, did not disappoint!
This song is awesome, and it is a total change of sound for Miley as she sings about “shakin’ it like we’re at the strip club!”
“I can’t wait; my heart is beating a thousand miles a minute,” said Miley about premiering the song. “The fans have made it more than a single releasing; my fans have made it a really insane experience. Everyone always judges; my fans are a group that stands by me.”
Speaking about her new music, Miley said “I keep getting connected with a sound that is my own. I love making music. The song says where I am in my life right now.”
Miley Reveals ‘We Can’t Stop’ Release Date
The news of Miley’s single first broke May 19 when she decided to spill the beans herself on the blue carpet at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards.
While walking the carpet, she also told reporters that her new single would finally show us the real Miley:
I’m so excited. I’m going live with Ryan Seacrest, and it’s going to be a world-exclusive premiere, so it’s going to be amazing. I can’t wait. It’s like, two weeks? Way too long! I’ve just had the chance to work with so many amazing producers … it really turned to be perfect, and exactly what I wanted — what I wanted my first sound to be and my first look to be. I think it’s an important message for me to tell my fans, that they haven’t stopped waiting. So it’s great!
