Dierks Bentley, 37, is so excited to be a first-time dad, he couldn’t wait to include his fans in all of the baby joy! At a special fan club concert in Nashville on June 9, he asked fans to write down what they thought the country crooner was having — and even suggest names for the bundle of joy!
Dierks Bentley’s Baby’s Gender Revealed
"You guys mean everything to us and that's why we're always trying to give you guys the fan club exclusive," Dierks says in the beginning of his video. "And for today for the Last Call Ball 9, we thought it would be kind of funny to give you the scoop on whether or not I'm having a boy or girl."
Dierks, whose first baby is due this fall, read fans’ suggestions out loud on stage during his performance. Although the guesses of the gender were obviously 50/50, the names were pretty hilarious. One fan suggested the name Dierks-Anne for a girl, and another suggested the names Deacon Cash Bentley, or Jack Daniels if he had a boy.
Finally, the “What Was I Thinkin’” singer told the crowd what he and his wife were expecting — a baby boy! They erupted in applause, and are probably hoping for a mini Dierks to take on the country scene one day!
