H&M teams up with Isabel Marant as the newest guest designer for the fashion franchise!
Hollywood Life is SO excited to tell you about fashion’s newest alliance! On June 11, H&M announced that Isabel Marant would be designing pieces for their Fall 2013 collection. Find out everything you need to know HERE!
Isabel Marant for H&M:
It’s no secret that Hennes and Hauritz love a good fashion collaboration. The Swedish duo has had everyone from Versace, Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and Roberto Cavalli design for their brand. However, the newest partnership is going where no H&M guest designer has gone before.
On June 11, H&M announced that they would be teaming up with French designer, Isabel Marant, to create a women, teen, and for the first time: men’s collection. The men’s collection is said to consist of roughly 20 clothing items and five accessories. H&M fans will be able to shop all their favorite Marant-inspired pieces in over 250 H&M locations come November 14.
No images of any products have been released yet, but some of fashion’s leading ladies have already sounded off about their excitement. Blake Lively, Kate Bosworth, Rachel Bilson, Emma Roberts, Brooklyn Decker and Miranda Kerr are among some of the anticipated starlets.
The boho-chic brand is effortlessly cool and contemporary … and we can already see the women sporting some pieces!
In a video posted on H&M’s official YouTube channel, Marant talks about her attitude and inspiration for the line.
“I was very proud that H&M approached me to do this collection. I really try to do the essence of my style, and my style is about combining different ideas. The collection from H&M is an ideal wardrobe that you can do a lot with,” says Marant.
The French native also describes her design process as organic, taking inspiration from everything to colors and architecture.
We’re not sure if that means she’ll be recreating her much-replicated wedge sneaker, but we’re crossing our fingers! Nonetheless, we’re expecting a highly anticipated line of versatile pieces with a Parisian flair.
