She may be the most famous new mom in the world, but Kim is being treated like any other mommy in the maternity ward. She is only allowed to stay in her deluxe delivery suite two nights, and can’t even pay to stay longer! Do YOU think that’s fair?
Kim Kardashian, 32, should enjoy her luxury $3,320 a night maternity suite at Cedars Sinai hospital with boyfriend Kanye West, 36, and their new bundle of joy, because they are only allowed to stay two nights!
Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Can Only Stay Two Nights At Luxury Suite
Even though money is no object for Kim and Kanye, hospital policy at Cedars Sinai dictates that new parents can only stay in their maternity suites for two nights. Kim and Kanye are allowed to stay overnight the day of their delivery, and stay overnight the next day known as postpartum 1, but have to leave on the third day known as postpartum 2.
Celebrities, who are used to receiving preferential treatment, can’t even pay to stay longer if they want to — the hospital needs to make room for more expectant mothers who are delivering their babies. The hospital can refer new parents to nearby hotels for a discount (not that celebrities need that), but their two-night policy is in place for everyone.
Kim & Kanye Could Stay Longer If Medical Complications
So does that mean Kim and Kanye will be leaving with their baby girl on June 17, two days after welcoming their daughter? Not exactly. They could have a longer visit if the new mom is experiencing any health complications, including bleeding or a fever.
But mom Kris Jenner said that both Kim and her baby girl are doing well, so it’s not likely she’ll need to stay any extra time.
It’s a shame they can’t enjoy their three free deluxe meals a day and on-call spa services, but we’re sure Kim and Kanye are eager to get back home to relax with their baby — even if “home” right now is Kris and Bruce Jenner‘s house.
