Kim is finally a new mom! The reality star recently gave birth to a healthy baby girl, and now all eyes are on how she’ll raise her bundle of joy.
Kim Kardashian gave birth to a baby girl June 15 with boyfriend Kanye West, shocking the world with an early delivery. The baby is happy and healthy, but now the questions turn to the new parents who have to make big decisions regarding their little one. One of the first — should Kim breastfeed?
Kim Kardashian Should Breastfeed Her Little Girl
Dr. Tara Solomon, medical director of The Women's Wellness of South Florida tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Kim breastfeeding will only have a positive effect on her little girl. Dr. Solomon says:
Breast-milk has so many more benefits than canned powder milk because you pass on immune antibodies to the baby through breast-milk. There is no immune benefit to powdered or canned milk. The baby doesn’t have a mature immune system until 6 months after birth so a baby born early will have an even less developed immune system.
We just know Kim will do whatever is necessary to make sure her little girl’s best interests are at heart!
Kim and Kanye Spending Father’s Day With Newborn
After the birth of their daughter, the couple spent Father’s Day in the hospital with their new addition. Friends including Jonathan Cheban and Kim’s BFF Brittny Gastineau also stopped by the hospital.
