On the June 24 episode of The Bachelorette, it seemed that James Case implied that he just wanted to become the next Bachelor, and now he has a lot of explaining to do! Did James Really Just Want To Be The Next ‘Bachelor’?
The drama got intense on the June 24 episode of The Bachelorette! James sort of implied how he wanted to be the next Bachelor and some of the guys pounced on the opportunity and told Desiree Hartsock. Now, James tells HollywoodLife.com that that was simply not the case.
He tells us that it was a conversation with Mikey that the idea popped in his head. Even after Mikey was down on his luck with Des, he acknowledged the connection James had with Desiree. However, James realized that if he couldn’t find love on this show, he would maybe consider trying to find it on The Bachelor! He was fully committed to The Bachelorette but that doesn’t mean he can’t think about future possibilities.
James’ Reasoning For Revealing His Cheating Past
James shocked everyone when he told Desiree on the June 17 episode that he cheated on an ex — and she still gave him a rose! James opens up on why he was completely honest with Desiree in that moment.
I don’t think you can worry about that. Obviously, you only get so much time with her because there are so many guys. So, to get to know somebody in that time, my thought process was to be open as much as I could. You’re condensing getting to know somebody in 9-weeks. So, you need to be as honest and upfront with everything.
James Talks About His Feelings For Desiree
Even though he was eliminated in Barcelona, James has nothing but great things to say about Desiree. His feelings for her were real and he was all-in for this romantic journey.
Absolutely. She’s such a good person, how can’t they be? She really is a great woman. She’s very humble. She’s a selfless person, she comes from nothing and she’s done so much. And how can you not have feelings for somebody like that? She’s a pretty girl.
