Kristen Stewart may feel awkward about her ex Robert Pattinson reportedly dating her friend and former co-star Riley Keough, but her life is about to get a lot more complicated, as her new movie may further prevent her from moving on from Rob and escaping her past.
Kristen Stewart Awkward Movie ‘Sils Maria’ — KStew Can’t Escape Rob
Not only will Kristen be acting alongside Robert Pattinson’s best friend, Tom Sturridge, in her new movie, Sils Maria, but she’ll also potentially be playing a love interest to Juliette Binoche’s character. Coincidentally, Juliette played Rob’s lover in Cosmopolis.
Apparently, Kristen, 23, can never escape Rob, 27. It’s so sad, really. It doesn’t seem healthy to be surrounded by things (or people in this case) that are associated with an ex.
For Kristen’s sake, I hope this is a fast filming process.
Kristen's Next Major Movie Role Revealed
At the Chanel haute couture show in Paris on July 2, Kristen talked about her role in the upcoming film to Women's Wear Daily. She said:
I play a personal assistant to an actress. It takes two very particular people to have that relationship be functional – one that services the other — because Juliette Binoche is playing the actress that I assist, and she is one of the most powerful women I think I've ever seen in film.

Furthermore, according to the movie's synopsis from CAB Productions, Kristen’s character could be a potential love interest for Juliette's character (Juliette made love to Rob in Cosmopolis).
Trapped in the turmoil of her divorce, that strips her from any emotional anchoring, the only person Maria Enders (played by Juliette) speaks to is her assistant, Valentine (played by Kristen), both a handywoman and her only friend. Even though both women try to erase all the ambiguities that make up their exclusive and intimate relationship.
While working with some of Rob’s colleagues and friends may seem super awkward, at least K-Stew won’t be in Los Angeles, and in close proximity of the new couple. Out of sight, out of mind — right?
