Kristen Stewart may be mending a broken heart following her split with Robert Pattinson, but it’s not keeping her from focusing strictly on her acting career. The Twilight star recently opened up to Women’s Wear Daily about her new role in the drama Sils Maria. You go girl!
Kristen’s Next Major Movie Role Revealed
Kristen looked absolutely stunning sitting front row of the Chanel haute couture show in Paris on July 2. While at the show, Kristen talked about her role in the upcoming film Sils Maria to Women’s Wear Daily. She said:
I play a personal assistant to an actress. It takes two very particular people to have that relationship be functional – one that services the other — because Juliette Binoche is playing the actress that I assist, and she is one of the most powerful women I think I've ever seen in film.
She also revealed how she’ll have to stay confident against Oscar-winning Juliette!
“I'm going to try desperately to not be squashed by a woman like that, and it's not going to be an easy thing,” she told the paper.

‘Sils Maria’: What K-Stew’s New Movie Is All About
According to the movie’s synopsis from CAB Productions, Kristen could be playing a lesbian to Juliette’s character. She’s definitely trying to venture out of that Twilight image! Here’s the description:
Trapped in the turmoil of her divorce, that strips her from any emotional anchoring, the only person Maria Enders (played by Juliette Binoche) speaks to is her assistant, Valentine (played by Kristen Stewart), both a handywoman and her only friend. Even though both women try to erase all the ambiguities that make up their exclusive and intimate relationship.
The film also stars Chloë Grace Moretz and Rob’s BFF Tom Sturridge (awkward).
