The July 1 episode of ‘The Bachelorette’ showed Desiree cry non stop over James Case, because he was clearly not there for the right reasons. Now, a shocking new report says that Desiree nearly quit the show over his lies.
Poor Desiree Hartsock! The girl who once rapped about finding a guy who wanted her for the “right reasons“ spent the entire July 1 episode of The Bachelorette in tears. Even more tears than one would typically see on this tumultuous show. After contestant James Case implied that he just wanted to become the next Bachelor, Desiree was left in turmoil, and we have since learned that she nearly abandoned her quest for love because of it.
Desiree Hartsock Nearly Quit The Show
Des, 27, learned on the June 24 show that James had been making sneaky remarks about how if he didn’t win the show, he could become the next Bachelor. This came one week after Bryden Vukasin mysteriously left the show, and Desiree learned that Ben Scott‘s only interest was promoting his bar.
“There were several moments where she said ‘I want to go home,’” reveals a show insider to Us Weekly. “She thought ‘What else is going to happen?” Desiree had “multiple conversations with producers about going home. There were a lot of tears behind the scenes. It got very emotional and real. This was not an easy process for her.”
Desiree Was Really Hurt By James Case
Throughout the whole episode, Des kept excusing James’ behavior.
“What you didn’t seen on camera was how much she really struggled with letting James go. It was hard for her,” continues the source. However, ”James completely sabotaged himself,” says the source. “Desiree was very discouraged. She wondered if anyone was there for her.”
Poor Des!
HollywoodLife.com exclusively interviewed James, who insists that he was misunderstood. Thankfully she did send him home, and I am hoping that she picks Chris or Brooks!
What do YOU think HollywoodLifers? Are you shocked Desiree wanted to quit? Do YOU think James is the biggest villain yet?
