Chris sat down for an EXCLUSIVE interview with HollywoodLife.com, and you won’t believe the things he had to say about the two ladies in his life!
On June 20, Chris Brown teamed up his charity, Symphonic Love Foundation, with WE US: Walk Everywhere in Unity’s Shoes to provide shoes to a thousand inner city, at-risk youths in Compton, Calif. Taking a few minutes off from handing out the sneakers, the 24-year-old singer talked exclusively to HollywoodLife.com, and even dished about his infamous love triangle.
Chris Brown: ‘I Choose To Be Single!’
Though Chris has very publicly been spending time with his former ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran after splitting up with Rihanna, he surprisingly revealed to us that he isn’t tied down to anyone right now:
[Fans have] seen me on and off again with different girls, you know who they are, but right now, as a 24-year-old man, I just choose to be single!
Chris continued, adding that he’s still close with Rihanna and Karrueche, but with everything else on his plate — his charity work, his upcoming album, X – the R&B singer feels he’s due some time to himself. “I’m still good friends with them,” Chris admitted. “[Now] it’s just me being focused with my music and doing this stuff. Right now, I’m in my prime.”
You can’t blame Chris for wanting to take a little time off from romance. His love triangle with KT and RiRi has been full of drama and that can eventually get tiring, especially when you’re Chris Brown, a guy who’s constantly in the public eye with so many other things to think about.
Chris Brown & Karrueche Tran: No Longer Together
It was just less than a month ago though on June 30 when Karrueche went to the BET Awards with Chris and then had a romantic sleepover with him at his house in the Hollywood Hills. “They got it crackin’ at his crib,” a source close to the singer told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at the time.
The status of Chris and Kae’s relationship has evidently changed a little bit since then, but he seems to suggest that the change was mutual and there’s no harsh feelings between the former couple.
